“UFC 166 this past weekend in Houston, Texas was certainly one of the best cards I have seen in recent memory. The night was action packed from top to bottom with submissions, knockouts, and possibly the best fight in MMA history with the war between Diego Sanchez and Gilbert Melendez. On a less positive note, fans were also able to tune into what, in my opinion, was yet another example of how bad MMA judging can be as Tim Boetsch was awarded a decision victory after being beaten for 3 rounds by CB Dollaway. Capping off the night was an almost 25-minute showdown between the two best heavyweights in the world as Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos locked the cage doors for the third time to finally figure out who the baddest man on the planet is. Coming out on top was the champion Cain Velasquez, who gave JDS and MMA fans a flashback of the second fight between those two men with another dominating victory.
